Hey there! We are Halldóra & Hobie, a husband and wife photo team based in Iceland. With over 10 years of elopement and wedding photography experience, we’ve had the joy of capturing countless love stories in one of the most raw and beautiful places on earth!

We’re not just photographers—we’re your travel buddies, your hype squad, and your Iceland experts, helping you craft a day that's uniquely yours.
We really make an effort to make the photo session feel like a fun exploration out in nature and we really just want to capture you interacting with the landscape and with each other. We will do some traditional shots as well and give you direction if needed but for the most part we keep the directions and poses to a minimum so hopefully you will shortly forget that the cameras are even there.
About our style
How we met
Halldóra decided to travel from Iceland to California to attend one of the top photography schools, Brooks Institute of Photography. While attending, she met a fellow classmate named Hobie, who is originally from California. There was an instant spark; that special spark you don’t feel with any other crushes. However, it took Hobie 6 years to finally ask her out (yeah, I know … ). Since then, we are married and are often out on adventures with cameras in hand.

LOVES to skate - Ice skate, roller skate, skateboard, rollerblade, ski, and ride something called Sled Dogs snowskates
A perfectionist at building snow houses (Igloos).

Has a slightly concerning addiction to cars.
Owns 7 and 1/3 cars - most do not run
Has lived in Iceland since 2014
Used to race go-karts professionally
As a kid, he did hip-hop dance classes and his Mom would reward him with Pokemon cards - he will deny all of this
